  • thankful thoughts

so another thanksgiving has come and gone... which means it's time for me to think about what i'm thankful for.... i doubt i can say it all on here, but here's a FEW things that i'm thankful for this year...

so i guess the first thing i'm thankful for is 1) family... my mom, dad, sister, brother in law, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins... you the idea... they're all so special to me, i don't know what i'd do without them. they're my support, spiritual and every other way. 2) friends.... oh wow... without friends..... i don't think i could do much (of course i just said that about family... but friends are different.... u know?) even when i am not keeping in touch with family.. i have my friends. when i lose touch with people i get really sad and my life starts to get boring, but then someone will talk to me and everything is alright again. 3) college.... sounds weird, but i'm grateful for the classes i'm taking in college. it's teaching me what real life is like, i'm learning that life isn't always easy and carefree, you hafta work to succeed, i mean REALLY work! it's not like being homeschooled and just flying by with all of your classes. 4)afcoe... i CAN'T WAIT till january! i had been praying for a long time about going to afcoe... and then i got my acceptance letter and i just went to my room and dropped to my knees and said "THANK YOU LORD!" (i'm kinda emotional about stuff... lol) 5) (this is gettting to be long... lol) i guess the next thing i'm grateful for is animals, my pets. God has given me the best animals and i'm just so grateful for them... when i need someone to talk to that will just sit and listen, my cat is always willing, she's heard so many things these past 15 years (yes... 15 years!) i hope she doesn't pass away while i'm at afcoe.. that would break my heart. 6) everything else i have... (cus this is getting too long! my fingers are tired...)

thanks for listening... (i mean reading) don't forget to remember the things you're thankful for!!!!!!

    MIDTERMS!

ok, so i'm half way through my first quarter/semester of college..... and i think i'm gonna make it! (hooray for me... lol) so i think i've mentioned it before, but i will mention it again.... i'm taking Anatomy and Physiology, Developmental Psychology, Public Speaking and Lifetime Fitness (nutrition/PE). i think this equals a total of 12 hours (joy) so i'm a full time student, but yet i still have a little relaxation time. (well, ok, very little. how do people take 18 hours?! i'm amazed at their abilities... lol) so far i think i'm getting an A in A&P, a B or high C in Psychology, an A in public speaking and i have no clue (maybe a B) in lifetime fitness. (oh, here's some advice for some of you out there who haven't taken it, find an exciting teacher for psychology if you have to take it, boring ones ruin your grade...)

ok, enough about school... well i dunno... i guess i should talk about what i've been doing for fun, or what things i've done other than school and homework, and taking a break to watch some andy griffith... but... i really don't have anything else to share, that's my life and i don't do much else at the moment. hopefully i'll have something fun and exciting to tell you after thanksgiving break. hopefullly

well, it was good to write again. God bless all you guys out there that read this. don't forget that Christ gave his life for you, even before you knew you would need Him.
